Come and enjoy the beautiful Laurel Highlands in their Fall color; visit Fort Ligonier (http://fortligonier.org/) where George Washington was once stationed; eat lunch at a Victorian mansion in historic Ligonier. The next field trip will take in all of these and more. Fort Ligonier was in use during the French and Indian War (1758 - 1766). We will tour the Fort and visit the galleries and exhibits in the museum (Cost: Adults $8.00, children 5 and under Free). We will then go to lunch at the Ligonier Tavern (http://www.ligoniertavern.com/) which serves soups, salads, sandwiches and regular entrees. If there is time, we will stroll the streets of picturesque Ligonier.
