Our next field trip will be on Tuesday - Jan. 24, to the National Aviary. See the nation's Bird Zoo! There are more than 500 birds from around the world at the aviary: http://www.aviary.org.
We will meet at 10am in the Parking lot at the National Aviary. The address is 700 Arch Street, Pittsburgh, PA, 15212.
Normal Admission is $13. but if we are a group of 15 or more, each of us will just pay $9.
Help trainers feed the water birds their morning snack at 10:30 in the Wetlands Exhibit and the tropical birds at 11:00 in the Tropical Forest Exhibit. You could also buy a cup of nectar to feed the lorikeets at 11:30. Kids are more than welcome!
