Downtown Pittsburgh
Our field trip will be conducted by guides from the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation on Friday, Oct 11, 2013 and consist of a Grant Street Walking Tour and a Jail Museum visit.
We will meet outside the Grant St. entrance of the Omni Wm. Penn Hotel at 10am and end at the
Old Allegheny County Jail Museum at noon. You may come directly to the hotel starting point or meet at the church at 9:45am to share rides.
After the tour we will buy lunches individually in one of the Market Square restaurants and gather in the Square to enjoy them together weather permitting.
The fee for the tour is $10. It is not suitable for small children and the use of cameras requires prior written permission from PHLF.
